SONGS OF GOD AND LAUGHTER

A cycle of six songs for Mezzo-soprano and/or Baritone with Trumpet and Piano/4 Hands.  These solo works are also included in the larger cycle for choir entitled WHERE EVERYTHING IS MUSIC.  The humor, compassion and transcendence expressed by these Muslim poets is the inspiration behind this set, which is intended as a gesture of ecumenism for both sacred and secular concert events.
